Aly & AJ releases sophomore album Insomniatic with maturer sound and lyrics.

Potential Breakup Song is a song everyone has heard by now. It introduced us to a new techno beat that Aly & AJ has not used before. It is a fun song and a great choice for first single of the new album.

Bullseye is a cool, fun song. I can immediately tell that Aly & AJ have matured musically. This might be one of my favorite songs.

Closure and Division are the first slower songs on the album. Both are good songs about moving on from a relationship gone bad. They also show off how much Aly & AJ have matured.

Like It Or Leave It is a great song with some very good vocals and music. Some may be offended by the use of the word "crap" in the song.

Like Whoa is like whoa. Similar to Bullseye, it is a fun song full of energy. It has a unique sound which makes it another one of my favorite songs on the album.

The title track Insomniatic is another pretty good song. It is a slower song on the album but has a great unique sound.

Silence has a beautiful sound. It is the softest and slowest song of the album. It is simply beautiful. The strings at the end add a very nice touch as well.

If I Could Have You Back is a another good song with a good flow. It is about reconsidering a relationship.

Blush is a song that will raise a few questions. It is a pretty song, but some parents may find it a little inappropriate for younger listeners.

Flattery and I'm Here is another pair of slower songs. They both have good vocals and a nice sound. Flattery has more guitar while I'm Here has more piano.

Chemicals React (Remix) is actually much better than the original version. You might even call the original more of a remix than this version. The remix has a softer, more acoustic sound that makes it very nice.

To End, I will say that this album is definately better than Into The Rush and it does have a maturer sound that I enjoy a lot more than their debut. I do wish Aly & AJ would have put more thought into the people that actually listen to their music. It definately lacks some religious meaning that the first album actually did have and a couple songs may raise a few questions. Other than that, it is definately worth the buy.
