On Sunday night, MuteMath brought their Armistice tour to Memphis, TN at the New Daisy Theater on the famous Beale Street. The set list included 19 songs from their two albums. The stand out tracks for me were definitely "Chaos," "Typical," "Spotlight," and of course "Reset" and "Break The Same." The crowd singing along with "Typical" was awesome. I have rarely experienced something like it. Their stunts and insane methods of making music also made it a one-of-a-kind experience and, without a doubt, the best show I will ever see. At one point, lead singer Paul Meany was standing on the rail right in front of me and sent his synthesizer into the crowd for us to touch for a truly one-of-a-kind sound. Also, drummer Darren King set his drum in our hands and then stood on it before falling back into the crowd. I was truly speechless by the end of the nearly 2-hour set. If you are looking for a big show in a small venue, this is the show to see!
